Our Leadership Team 

David Goldstein is a co-founder of Knowledge Management Associates. For more than 20 years, David has been a widely quoted expert in business intelligence and knowledge management systems. At KMA, David oversees all projects, and works closely with clients to understand business needs, assess upcoming challenges, and design leading edge technology solutions.

Before founding KMA, David was a professor in the information systems area at the Harvard Business School, the Sloan School at MIT, and the Boston University School of Management. As a faculty member, he conducted research and provided consulting services for numerous Fortune 500 companies, including American Express and IBM. David holds a B.Sc. degree from McGill University, S.M. and M.E. degrees from Harvard University and a Ph.D. from M.I.T.

Partner and Co-Founder

Jorge Rodriguez is a co-founder of Knowledge Management Associates. He has more than 30 years of experience in software engineering with extensive experience designing and building large-scale database systems and desktop information delivery solutions. At KMA, Jorge is the lead software architect. He plays a key role working with clients and KMA developers to design and build technology solutions.

Prior to founding KMA, Jorge worked as an independent consultant assisting senior technology managers at leading organizations, such as ITT, GTE, DEC, Fidelity Investments, Banco Maracaibo, KPMG Peat Marwick, and Conrail. Jorge also was a founder, Senior Vice President, and Board Member at SofTech, and managed several major systems development efforts as the head of SofTech's Federal Systems Group. Jorge holds a SB, SM and ScD degrees from M.I.T.. He was a member of the M.I.T. Corporation from 2002 - 2007.

Partner

Jean Tufts is a leader in the IT Professional Services Industry, with over 20 years of business analysis, product and project management experience. Jean's focus at KMA is on Project Management, Human Resources and Operations. Previously Jean was responsible for client relationships and all managerial and budgetary aspects of project management from initial proposal phase through completion of projects. She has worked extensively with Fortune 500 companies in the banking and insurance industries as well as business consulting. Prior to joining KMA in 2001, she was the Project Manager for the New England Financial Vantage One and RPS Annuity Systems at MetLife. Her background also includes eight years' experience in institutional trust and custody and private wealth management. Jean has a BS in Marketing from Northeastern University and is a 2006 graduate of SIM's (Society for Information Management) Northeast Regional Leadership Forum.

Michael Gilronan brings 20 years of industry experience to KMA, including more than 15 years in the IT professional services industry. In his current role, Mike is focused on business development and client service. Prior to joining KMA in 2006, Mike spent seven years at ePartners, a leading Microsoft Business Solutions partner, in a variety of customer-facing and management roles. He also worked at Bentley Systems, a leading publisher of engineering software, and for Coopers & Lybrand.  Mike holds a B.S. degree from LaSalle University in Accounting and Finance, and has achieved CPA and PMP certifications.

Manager

Darryl Robinson joined KMA from SupplyWorks, Inc., where he designed and developed the user interface for the company's Web-based SRM solution. Previously, he spent 13 years as Senior Consultant at Robotica Automation Consultants, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in the development of Web and client-server applications. His primary responsibilities at KMA include designing and developing business intelligence applications and knowledge management.

SharePoint Practice Lead
  

Derek Cash-Peterson has over 10 years of industry experience building customized intranets, extranets, and  'www' sites based on the SharePoint platform.  He is currently the SharePoint practice lead at KMA where he helps define architecture standards, create strong site designs, and develop exceptional user experiences.  Previously, Derek was the SharePoint Web Developer Manager at Boston's BigBad, Inc., where he managed a team of developers in building external-facing SharePoint sites.  Just prior to joining KMA, he worked at New England BioLabs, Inc. performing a variety of SharePoint-related projects.

Manager
 

Sergey Kagan joined KMA from Information Resources, where he designed and developed a client server application. Sergey has over 20 years experience in Software Engineering and over 12 years in the Microsoft Office Applications. He has an extensive background in object oriented programming and design and expertise in UI design and development for Windows and Web application. Sergey was awarded the MSEE from St. Petersburg State Technical University, and is a Microsoft Certified Professional in Designing and Implementing Databases with Microsoft SQL Server™ 2000 Enterprise Edition.

Manager

Elena Kontorovich has more than ten years of software development and project management experience in IT industry. Prior to joining KMA, she spent five years as a Senior Software Engineer at MDL Information System, Elsevier Company managing offshore personnel and providing project management, configuration and quality assurance support to complex products designed for commercial, academic and government life sciences researchers. She also worked at Parametric Technology Corporation as software developer designing and implementing core geometrical utilities for CAD product. Elena holds MS and Ph.D. degrees from State Technical University and Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute, St. Petersburg, Russia.
